I had forgotten my Password... Sorry.

After a short lul in photography (which was actually welcome after December being so crazy!), things are picking up again, RAPIDLY. I don't mind it, actually I'm very thankful for it! I've signed a couple contracts for weddings at the end of this year, which means a small deposit to hold me over 'till then, which never hurts! And I have a couple more coming. I'm trying not to get over excited about this, but it's hard not to. I have a lot of family portraits and senior photos coming up, which makes me just as happy. Not being from Houma made this a lot harder, I don't know very many people out here so everything that I've gotten done is because I've done it and people like my work. It's very gratifying.
Hopefully my day job will be gone by June or July, so I can focus on Photography, but I may just keep it longer, because the first few weddings will go towards buying me a new vehicle.
Ok. After I've said all that, here's some eye candy.

The last one is where I'm going to be taking some prebridal photos. I'm excited.

This one goes out to Stephanie!

Since you are my only reader...
More photos I suppose?
Yes!

This is an old guy for Point of View Magazine. He works in a pharmacy. I don't know. The editor just gives me names, and assignments and SOMETIMES phone numbers. I just take the photos I'm paid to take!

This is just a fun, surreal photo in New Orleans that I like bunches.

And this is playing behind Tim's house!

I may be a n00b...

To this wedding photography business, but I am a professional, and I'm about to have to start making a contract with my clients.
Number one item that I need to remember (other than they can't sue me for any reason) is going to be that other people, with those annoying point and shoots, HAVE TO stay out of my way! Goodness, while trying to get the formal shots today, there were SO many people around using their crazy flashes that my photos kept being blown out. I finally had to get the bride to tell everyone to go away, and even then they listened about as well as an untrained dog.
Bleh.

It's late at night, and I have nothing clever.

Since this is my first post, I suppose I'll just show off some of my personal favorite shots.
This one was in a Baton Rouge paper!

This one isn't anything amazing, it's just one of the photos used in Point of View Magazine.

Oh. These will have to do. It's time for bed.
